A Warm-Hearted Shopkeeper Provides Shelter for Stray Dogs in the Chilly Weather
During a snowstorm in Istanbul, local people showed kindness to stray animals as the temperature dropped. Many shopkeepers have graciously opened their doors to stray cats and dogs, providing them with a warm and safe place to rest. Their compassionate behavior was greatly appreciated by these tired and cold animals.
Arzu Inan, the operator of a Penti store, took some stray dogs in while there were customers and took shelter. In a Facebook post, she shared her belief that true love is what provides warmth. Another animal lover, Selçuk Bayal, allowed twelve stray cats to take shelter in his cage, even if it affected his business.
The animals in Atrium Mall received support not only from management but also from interested customers. One of these customers, Ali Çelik, came across a cluster of stray animals outside the shopping center. Three strangers took care of them by providing cardboard to lie on and blankets to keep them warm. It’s heartening to see people come together to lend a helping hand to these furry creatures.
The dogs were also given food. In an interview with Dodo, Celik expressed his admiration for the anonymous individuals who chose to help without being recognized: “Their aim was to help animals, not to display their help.” Steel stated. As a result of contributing and empathetic people, many cold and exhausted animals found the necessary solace and escaped the cold weather.
Open the door, it’s a shame, let’s take care of the dogs
The merciful behavior of these shopkeepers and customers likely prevented deaths as they generously provided for those in need. It is hoped that their benevolent example will inspire others to show similar kindness.
