That lady is a saint! He picked up that dog with his bare hands, regardless of his safety, of ruining his beautiful clothes, or of fear of infection or being bitten by the dog. One night, my cat, Peanut, kept walking by my front door, meowing as if she wanted to get out, which was odd as it was a covered girl. About an hour later, I opened the door to find another cat hit by a car on my front step. That thing was ABSOLUTELY CROWNED, literally half frozen, and the rest of his fur was stained with frost, and his body was beginning to rot. It was so bad that it literally smelled dead. She gently slid him into a box with a hockey stick and took him to the vet. He was in puberty that night, but because the smell was so intense, he had to keep the windows of the car closed during the 25-minute journey. The vet gave him 0% chance of survival and immediately wanted to put him down. He said that his wounds must have been 2 weeks old, that he was LOADED with infection, that he had 2 broken legs, 1 broken shoulder, 1 very dislocated. severe frostbite and covered with cuts and road debris. Well…2 rods and 4 screws later, and after losing his tail a week later (literally rotted from his body)…he lived another 13 years. He named it ER, which stands for emergency department. The animal is tough if given the chance. And it’s a shame so many people don’t give a sick or injured animal the chance to fight for its life. My cat, who was in trouble that night, literally saved his life.
It broke my heart to see this innocent girl abandoned with that deep wound apart from her broken leg. … thanks to these good people who changed their lives with their love and care … God bless you. Everything is possible with love…
