Although the staff encounters a large number of dogs while working there, every shelter has at least one dog that stands out from the others.

Beautiful Matilda has been accepted into the Douglas County Animal Shelter. Matilda is typically cheerful and enthusiastic, so the staff at the shelter instantly recognized that she had an unusual demeanor. As soon as Matilda arrived at the shelter, she was adopted.

This was a big surprise to the physicians there, especially given how difficult the first few months of Matilda’s life were.

The two-month-old pup was found in the shelter with skin irritation and worm infestation. She had lived on the streets of Georgia as a stray dog since the day she was born.

However, despite all these difficulties, she never lost her positive outlook on life and never stopped wagging her tail.

A volunteer named Santina Sanders gave Dodo data on the lady in question, who was given “best kisses”. According to one, it was the cutest thing that ever existed.

Another animal rescue organization that fell in love with the cute dog was Pibbles & More Animal Rescue for the purpose of how it interacts with other animals. Sanders wasn’t the only one who noticed Matilda’s pleasant disposition.

Teresa Bowles-Chiofalo, one of the organization’s directors, bonded with the happy and lively Matilda and ultimately decided to rescue the dog from the shelter and place it in a foster family.

The puppy was so happy when his stepdad came to pick him up that the dog did not stop wagging its tail for the hour and a half journey.

It wags its tail so hard that it curls as it walks.

Although Matilda is a friendly dog, she did not particularly like leashes. He stopped wagging his tail when his stepdad Rich tried to put a collar on him, a clear sign that he didn’t like the collar.

However, the cute dog is self-embroidered for everything but the leash in its new home.

She enjoys playing with her toys, spending time with her half-siblings, and helping her human brother with his schoolwork. He often visits his human brother at home to help him with his duties.
