I am grateful for showing the humanity of the original owners. They were not bad, they were only limited by their resources. I’m glad this lady was able to rescue and retrieve the dog.

You are awesome! As the mother of a rescued former LSG Great Pyrenees who has spent her whole life outside, I can say that they quickly get used to being inside and loving it! My daughter came to Chicago from Oklahoma when we adopted her, and she loves to find all kinds of cold spots in the house, even though we keep it at 60°F throughout the winter, snow, and year. She’s super smart, sweet, and super dumb, and when a UPS/FedEx truck stops, she can somehow identify if the package is ours or one of the neighbors because she gets alarmed and gets grumpy and starts barking at the door. That she is in place 100% of the time, she. The funny thing is that most of the time the packages should be happy for the reason that they are for him! I think one day he’ll get it together. Laughing out loud. Thank you for not giving up on this dog and saving his life. Oftentimes, farmers intentionally dispose of or easily kill LSG dogs when they are no longer used. Few farmers put them to the rescue, and I wish they had all of them when they no longer need or want dogs from now on. I am grateful that my dog’s previous owner did the right thing.

My brother and I were very grateful to my father for taking us and him to the vet and spending $40 on him for emergency repairs and neutering. That was a huge amount to spend at that time.

Kora knows that she loves him 100% from her actions and from her voice when talking to her. My mom had a dog that died a little over 2 years ago, and I used to watch it when she went on outings with her best friend. The dog and I had that loving bond that needed no words. Even though it has been a little more than 2 years since his death, it still hurts because I still miss watching the dog.
